Dakota Bailey was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Malibu, California. She is a classically trained dancer in both Royal Academy of Dance and American Ballet Theater syllabi.

At the age of 15, Dakota landed her first role in a film written and directed by Sabrina Jaglom (daughter of writer/director Henry Jaglom). Since then, she has appeared in films that have been featured in festivals around the country.

She is best known for her roles as McDowell's Secretary in season 2 of 1923, and Jillian Soskin in season 3 of All Rise.t
